Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A leading Distribution provider is recruiting NOW for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their new state of the art facility in Warrington. Initially a Monday to Friday day shift then progressing to a 12 hour days /nights continental shift when the site goes live in August 2016, an attractive salary of £45,600 plus pension and Bupa is offered. The Controls / Automation Engineer will be apprentice trained or hold equivalent qualifications and must have a good working knowledge on supporting automated systems, electrical controls and network communication systems within an automated environment. A distribution or FMCG background would also be advantageous.

Job Description

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the following:

– Reactive maintenance & planned maintenance on automated machinery
– Electro-mechanical proficiency
– Problem analysis and continuous improvements
– Electrical & controls fault finding
– Diagnose and fix faults of network communication systems

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role ideally requires candidates with experience / skills / background in:

– Good level of Electrical & Mechanical multi-skilling
– Electrical and controls fault finding
– Good knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens S7)
– PC Skills (hardware & software)
– Experience of Profibus & ASi networks
– Experience of supporting automated systems
– Able to diagnose and rectify faults in mechanical systems
– Good communication skills
– Flexibility
