Industry leading experts, based in Leigh (Greater Manchester) have an exciting new opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their ever-expanding business. 

This opportunity will allow the right candidate to develop, excel and make their own stamp within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring effective and safe operation of all machinery across site
• Engage in Lean Maintenance Improvement Initiatives using CI and Lean techniques.
• Ensuring a maximum performance & efficiency of production machinery
• Fault Finding on a range of Machinery across the manufacturing site
• Carrying out scheduled PPMs
• Maintaining high personal & product safety / quality standards 
• Working within a team of shift engineers & production staff

Skills & Experience:

• You should hold a time served apprenticeship or a HNC/ONC in an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering background
• Experience working on high volume production automated machinery 
• Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications 
• Good communication ability at all levels 
• Previous experience working within FMCG or Pharmaceutical advantageous
