Motorcycle Technician

Salary: £28,800 per year

Based in Guildford Surrey our client is actively looking to recruit a Motorcycle Technician with City and Guilds maintenance technician qualifications, to undertake maintenance, service and repairs, across their full range of motorcycles. You will be expected to carry out work to the highest standards. Competently diagnosing faults, completing repairs and road tests within allotted times.
Actively seeking to develop positive relationships and delight the Customer you will proactively: –
* Ensure all vehicles are thoroughly examined and reported upon in a complete, timely and professional manner
* Accurately read interpret and implement manufacturers technical service instructions and data
* Accurately note and record all parts, lubricants and consumables on the company’s paper work and computer systems
* Drive customers motorcycles in a safe and considerate manner, always ensuring the machines security
* Ensure the minimum wastage of materials, lost and divisionary down time
* Recover damaged or defective motorcycles as directed with an emphasis on vehicle and personal safety
* Help maintain a healthy and safe working environment
* Positively promote the Companies business at every available opportunity
As an organised and methodical individual, you will possess strong problem-solving skills and will have good manual dexterity and time management skills. You will have served a recognised apprenticeship or completed a dealership training scheme and manufacturers training courses.
Working a 40-hour Monday to Friday with a Saturday rotating shift pattern the position Motorcycle Technician will, subject to experience, pay between £28,800 and £26k per annum and with the commission rate this can uplift to £32k per annum.
