Motor Claims Handler

Barker Munro Recruitment are delighted to be working with this successful expanding insurance company who are looking for Motor Claims Negotiators to join their team in Manchester.

The Job purpose for the Motor Claims Negotiators is to proactively manage and efficiently process a portfolio of Motor Claims from outset to conclusion.

The key responsibilities of the role are to manage claims, either AD, TP or Credit Hire claims in accordance with the companies procedures and your own authority limits. You will process claims payments, ensure that reserves are set, be responsible for your own personal development, ensure compliance with all regulatory and corporate policies and to proactively manage all incoming correspondence.

In addition you will need to be aware of fraud indicators and potential fraudulent claims, refer any claims outside of your personal authority to your supervisor and work to achieving your Key Performance Indicators.

To be successful in this role you will need to have previous experience of handling motor claims, either within FNOL, AD, TP or Personal Injury. You will need good communication, negotiation and influencing skills and have strong customer service skills.
