Background
A successful engineering & manufacturing services company, supplying products and services to the Defence, Aerospace and Homeland Security market sectors, is now looking for an experienced Ministry Stores Controller to join their team. The Ministry Stores Controller will manage the control of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) held by the company to the MoD end-user customer.

This role would suit ex-military candidates and applications from ex-service personnel with the appropriate experience are strongly encouraged.

Key Responsibilities
Control of GFE held by the Company.
Managing the control and handling of Contract Embodiment items (CEI), Contract Support Items (CSI), Contract Work Arising (CWA), Contract Work items (CWI) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
Periodic audits to maintain data integrity of the configuration database system in accordance with Defence Standard 05-99/3.
Liaise with MoD customers and suppliers.
Annual and Quarterly audits T-ACC.
Preparation and maintenance of E-List.
Upkeep of Configuration records.
Provide cover in the absence of the RD003 stores person.
Provide analysis of CEI, CSI, CWA, CWI and GFE data to external and internal auditors.
Seek opportunities for self-development.

Key Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
The position would ideally suit a Leading Logistic (Stores Accountant) or service equivalent.

All candidates must be in a position to obtain UK security clearance to SC level. Additional ITAR restrictions may apply on certain defence programmes.
