Job Description
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum plus company van and Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Mobile – Hampshire area

What you’ll be doing;
- Carry out work as per schedule supplied by the Services Manager in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines.
- Complete site documentation before and after work tasks, as appropriate.
- Liaise with subcontractors during planned service maintenance.
- Carry out Risk Assessment of Equipment Maintenance Task List steps and periodic reviews of EWI/SOP to ensure documents are always current and valid.
- Flexibility to work around Maintenance Shutdown’s.
- Be responsible for personal training curricula and ensure missing requirements are completed
- Participate in Audits of the plant and follow up on actions.
- Drive local reviews of maintenance performance data using published maintenance excellence KPI results, in areas like: Spares cost; High levels of paperwork; PM:CM ratio; Maintenance man-hours per equipment/system; Equipment reliability trends
- Review PM program content regularly to remove non-value added activities’ and duplication.
- Ensure that the CMMS system contains the most up to date information regarding equipment data, spares and maintenance man-hours.
- Maximise maintenance wrench time utilisation through effective planning.
What we’re looking for;
- Recognized trade qualification, City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (7189) or equivalent
- 2 years minimum experience in a similar role and good understanding of the basic fundamentals of the various utilities systems
- Willingness to expand working knowledge into mechanical and electrical systems
- Good understanding of Preventive Maintenance Systems.
- Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management Work Order system.
- Experience a documented Permit to Work System
- Ability to read and understand P&ID’s/electrical drawings
- Understanding of SOP’s.
- Understanding of Basic Instrumentation
- Troubleshooting/repair of electrical systems (related mechanical experience a distinct advantage)
