Salary: £41,400 per year
Our client, one of the UK’s largest building services providers, are seeking a mobile combustion engineer to join a team looking after the mechanical and electrical maintenance of a large and diverse public sector property portfolio across the south coast.
About the Role;
The Key purpose of the role is to carry out operational and maintenance activities which deliver safe, resilient and reliable operating environments which support the client business and ensuring timely completion of PPM and reactive works to service level agreements.
The property portfolio is very diverse and will range from a small number of domestic properties all the way up to very large corporate office environments with buildings of varying age and types of heating systems.
The role is mobile and will involve a large amount of independent working and managing relationships with customers is a key part of the day to day activity.
There is an opportunity for a large amount of overtime.
About the Person;
Qualified with current certification in commercial gas engineering and domestic gas engineering
Previous experience as a maintenance engineer working on a large multi – site contract.
Full awareness of Health & Safety legislation and how this affects working methods.
The operative should have held a similar role for at least two years.
Must have excellent communications skills both verbally and written.
The ability to work in the fast paced dynamic environment of a geographically large area
