Middleweight Creative Artworker, Production Artist

We are a multi award winning full service creative agency looking for a Middleweight Creative Artworker / Production Artist to join the expanding Studio team.

SALARY: £30,000 – £36,000

LOCATION: Northampton, COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Leicester, Rugby, Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Bedford

JOB SPECIFICATION: – Middleweight Creative Artworker / Production Artists

We are looking for a Middleweight Artworker to provide implementation at a middleweight level for artwork and development within the Studio Department.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

* Using acquired skills to take scheduled activities through to finished artwork for repro, making sure all design criteria, timescales and budget constraints are met. When appropriate to the project demonstrate and implement creative thinking,
* Assist other members of the studio when requested and offer constructive opinions or advice where necessary.
* Ensure studio working practices and guidelines are followed at all times. Implement these to ensure the highest standards of productivity are achieved.
* Reporting into the Development Manager taking instruction, guidance and mentoring as required while advising of any noted areas of concern within any subject.
* Working to a managed schedule, working fast and confidently with Adobe CS / CC on Mac
* Getting ‘under the skin` of written graphic design briefs, delivering well balanced typography and competent spatial awareness.
* Rolling-out pre-existing designs and concepts across multiple sizes and formats as well as making text and imagery amends.
* Sourcing and maintaining brand assets, aligning your work to brand guidelines
* Adding definition and improving the quality of artwork
* Preparing and supplying approved designs for final print and online upload

REQUIREMENTS:

* As a Middleweight Artworker / Production Artist you`ll ideally already have a few years` experience of Adobe CS / CC under your belt as well as having previously operated within a busy, mac-based, creative studio or print environment.
* Strong Communication skills are an absolute must for this role.
