Salary: £38,400 per year
Merchandiser / Buyer required for business in Brighton, East Sussex. This is a new opportunity to join a successful, well-established organisation.
A very varied role in which you’ll be assisting the Buying Manager with the running of the department. Duties will include managing stock, new introductions and range changes, managing pricing and margins whilst driving sales and profit. Working closely with marketing to manage bi monthly promotions, meeting with and building supplier relationships, and working with the Buying Manager to achieve maximum sales and profitability. Previous people management is desirable as you will be expected to manage the team when the buying manager is absent.
The successful candidate will have both merchandising and buying experience and be someone who can quickly take charge of the role and make it their own.
