The Role – Medical Field Service Engineer, Medical Lasers, Optics & Ophthalmic Instrumentation

Following an imminent retirement, this market leading optical group now seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Electronic Field Service Engineer, responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, service, breakdown and repair of leading edge fully networked electronic optical medical systems, with innovative products dedicated to a broad range of medical applications with include optometry, dentistry, radiotherapy, surgical microscopy, digital visualisation, neurosurgery and gynaecology. This role is home based, and will involve travelling to hospitals, healthcare centres and medical establishments throughout London, the South East and Home Counties regions. The successful applicant will need to reside in Greater London, Middlesex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex, or Kent, ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times.

Your Background – Medical Field Service Engineer, Medical Lasers, Optics & Ophthalmic Instrumentation

Suitable candidates for this exciting role will need to possess a qualification in electronics, engineering or science, to a minimum of ONC level, and have gained experience working in a customer facing field service or technical support environment with experience of optics, lasers or ophthalmic applications.
