Salary: £13.72 per hour

We are currently looking for a hard working and flexible individuals to become part of a new health project where patient care and welfare comes first. You will present yourself in a positive and friendly manner to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone. Additionally you will visit patients at their homes and therefore must drive with your own vehicle.

Duties will be very varied and will include but not be limited to:
* Assist medical personnel in the care of practice patients to include treatment, preventative care,
screening and patient education. The post will also include a mixture of administrative and reception
duties.
* Communicating between patients, doctors, nurses and other members of the primary health care team
* Offering general assistance to the practice team, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate
service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way
* Undertake a variety of administrative tasks to assist in the smooth running of the practice including the
provision of secretarial and clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team
* Facilitate effective communication between patients, members the primary health care team, secondary
care and other associated healthcare agencies
* Responsibilities to be undertaken by members of the practice administration team may include any or all
of the items in the following list. Duties may be varied from time to time under the direction of the
senior receptionist/practice manager, dependent on current and evolving practice workload and staffing
levels:

Must have strong IT skills with a preference in Excel to intermediate or advanced level.

You must have an interest in light clinical duties as full training will be given in blood pressure monitoring, urinalysis and phlebotomy.

A uniform and name badge must be worn at all times, which will be supplied by the Practice.

Will undergo a DBS (Criminal Disclosure)

Hours of work:
4 Day Rota between Monday and Sunday
Between 5 & 10 hours daily
7.00am to 5.00pm or 5.00pm to 10.00pm
