Key Responsibilities Include:
- Master planned maintenance schedules, tackling tasks with precision and efficiency.
- Be the eagle eye on-site, identifying and reporting defects for swift resolution.
- Collaborate with the Depot Engineer to maintain meticulous PPM records, meeting deadlines without fail.
- Set the stage for success by prepping work areas for depot, system, and component maintenance.
- Channel your inner detective! Utilise diagnostic skills to pinpoint faults in complex systems.
- Become a blueprint translator – understand technical drawings, P&IDs, and isometric diagrams like the back of your hand.
- Master the safety game! Possess a thorough understanding of Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), Risk Assessments (RAMs), and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures. You’ll even be entrusted with creating RAMs yourself for safe task execution.
- Step up as AP – your keen eye will be crucial for Control of Works and Permit to Work procedures.
About You:
- A certified Mechanical Technician with qualifications like a recognised Craft Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 2 in Engineering Operations or Pipework Systems, Level 3 BTEC/NVQ in Mechanical Maintenance, and completed Flange Management Training.
- A whiz with rotating and static equipment – tanks, pumps, valves, and pipework are your domain.
- Medically fit and ready to occasionally tackle confined spaces (with supplied breathing equipment, of course!).
- A true team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and exudes professionalism.
- Tech-savvy enough to navigate computer records and keep paperwork accurate and timely.
