Mechanical Site Supervisor

Salary: £22.8 per hour

Leo Xander is currently looking for a Mechanical Site Supervisor to work for a Mechanical and Electrical Installations contractor on a refurbishment of a building.

Mechanical Supervisor Duties:

* Mechanical contractor/installation supervision

* Ensuring work complies with required specification, design and best practice

* Ensure the Project QA/QC plan are implemented through close work alongside the technical services manager

* Company Quality Assurance Plans implementation through witnessing, checking and recording of quality activities as outlined within the plans

* Witness all critical quality activities including testing & commissioning

* Ensure smooth handover to the Site Commissioning Team through appropriate documentation of all construction and pre-commissioning activities

* Continuous liaison with other discipline construction supervisors to enable smooth execution of construction processes

* Ensure mechanical rectification during pre-commissioning and commissioning phases are carried out promptly, through liaison with Site Commissioning Team

* Report activity progress, in line with contractor’s plans, and report any potential slippages to the Project Manager

* Review the contractors planning in relation to mechanical activities

Mechanical Supervisor Requirements:

* NVQ Level 2 Plumbing, Heating, Mechanical Engineering Services or above

* SSSTS

* Previous experience working on large construction projects.

* Hold a current CSCS card

* Excellent communication skills

* Highly motivated and disciplined

* Well Organised

* Good analytical skills

* IT Literate

* Able to understand drawings
