Mechanical Project Manager (Site Based)

This is a Mechanical Project Manager Position for an established residential M & E Contractor company that has recently secured some very exciting new schemes throughout London and the South East. The company is based in the North London area in which the pre-construction is complete and would be on schemes with a value between £2-5 Million.

ROLE:
• Ensure that the Risk Assessments and Method Statements are updated and being worked to correctly
• Carry out regular Health and Safety Audits onsite and complete the appropriate paperwork
• Ensure that all Plant logs are maintained and provide adequate proof to satisfy an audit
• Provide and maintain a daily register of site attendee’s
• Ensure the Tool Box Talks are carried out by the Subbies/Supervisors/Engineers/managers regularly and keep records
• Produce and maintain the project Construction/Quality Plan
• Attend and chair Progress meeting with the Sub-Contractors
• Able to produce short term programme
• Able to review Specs and schematics to ensure compliance
• Assist the Quantity Surveyors with regards to variations and percentages complete for Invoicing

CANDIDATE:
• Hold an up to date CSCS card (Preferably Managers Card)
• Have a good track record in project management of residential new build and refurbishment projects
• Ability to build good working relationships with excellent communication skills
• Liaise with clients and attend all client meetings
• Be time served in a mechanical discipline
• Live within easy access of Central London
