Mechanical Project Manager – HVAC building services

Our Client is an independent MEP contractor working on projects up and down the UK. Working on data projects, amongst others, they are looking to add to their project management team.

As Mechanical Project Manager you will be responsible for the profitable delivery of the mechanical (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) element of medium to large-sized building services projects. As well as taking P&L responsibility, you will be client-facing and have the technical qualifications and expertise to deliver for the Client against the specified works. You will be responsible for all on-site labour, both sub-contract and “on the books”, as well as for procurement and client relations. With our Client working with many end-users on frameworks, this is a particularly Client focused role.

There will be some travel with this role, owing to the nature of construction contracting, however, this is an office-based role with site visits, rather than one where you will be based on one site for long periods. It is likely you will be managing more than one project at any one time, with multiple supply chains and Clients.

We are looking for a seasoned Mechanical Project Manager for this role, with extensive experience in building services (HVAC) contracting. You will have gained this experience within a large national or regional MEP contractor and be able to demonstrate a successful track record of project delivery.
