Mechanical Installation Engineer
WB Power Services is currently recruiting Mechanical Installation Engineers. As a Mechanical Installation Engineer at WB Power Services, you will play a key role in driving engineering excellence, ensuring the successful execution of projects, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our services. The Role
- Supporting and delivering the full service of generator installations for new clients.
- Working away from home Monday to Friday (depending on the project’s location).
- Collaborate with the Projects team to create designs meeting high specifications.
- Capture and specify requirements and produce technical plans.
- Attend scheduled meetings with the Project manager for updates.
- Liaise and communicate with customers, suppliers, and service providers.
- Keep abreast of current and developing engineering trends.
- Adhering to the company’s H&S, environmental, and quality management systems.
- Accurate recording keeping using the company’s bespoke management system.
- Working closely internally, to ensure jobs are within budget and on time.
The Person
- Time served as Mechanical/Electrical engineer or qualified to NVQ level 3.
- Experience in generators is highly advantageous but not essential.
- Be able to understand and complete risk assessments.
- Able to work away from home Monday and Friday.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with communicating via telephone and face-to-face.
- The capability to deal with a variety of customers from different industries.
