Mechanical Fitter

Responsibilities to include:

General Engineering skills, marking out, drilling, tapping.
Assembling heat seal machinery to required standard.
Setting up and testing of machinery when completed to include P.D.I Inspection.
On site commissioning and installation with overnight stay.
Fault finding and de bugging of machines.

We are looking for fully qualified Mechanical Fitters with good Engineering ability who can work as part of a team or on their own initiative. They will be expected to assist the Electrical engineers when required. Experience in the food industry would be an advantage but is not essential. All necessary training will be given to the right applicant who will be expected to have his own tools although any specialist tools will be provided.

My client is the market leader in the heat sealing and packaging for the food industry with excellent prospects and an OTE of £35,000

Standard hours are 8am till 4.30pm and overtime will be required.
