Mechanical Fitter

My Client, Southern Water are seeking Mechanical Maintenance/Fitters/ Service Engineers to provide both proactive and reactive maintenance on a range of water industry related sites such as pumping stations and water treatment works.

MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE/FITTER ENGINEERS
Salary £28,680+ company Van + Call out + Overtime
LOCATIONS – Ashford/Tonbridge/Canterbury/New Romney (South West or East Kent)

TO YOU MUST HAVE MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING SECTORS: WATER SECTOR / PROCESS PLANT / MANUFACTURING / PUMPS.

This role is based around providing reactive and proactive maintenance cover on a range of water industry related sites such as pumping stations and water treatment work. This will involve working on electric motors, pumps, control panels and similar equipment.

This position is suited for Electrical or Mechanical apprentice trained engineers who have experience of working in the Water industry, manufacturing environment or similar process driven environment.

Suitable candidates will hold formal Mechanical Engineering qualifications such as ONC, HNC, HND, GNVQ, City and Guilds or Full apprenticeship.
