Mechanical Estimator

Salary: £26,000 per year

Our client is a well known M&E Contractor in East Lancashire

They are looking for a Mechanical Estimator to assist with their Pre Construction Team looking at tenders up to £2.5M in value.

Duties as follows:

• Good team worker
• Excellent industry knowledge needed to secure competitive and successful bids 
• Use of relevant industry software ( ideally estimation )
• Experience at producing successful tenders
• Working to timescales
• Sub-contractor, plant, materials and equipment industry knowledge
• Up to date with current industry ideas

Commercial, Education, Hotels, High rise residential

We are interested in applicants who are good team workers and who are methodical and competent in their work approach. You must have a professional manner and be confident and persuasive in your outlook to ensure successful submittals. 

Skills and Qualifications

• A preferred candidate will have an HNC/HND or equivalent qualification
• Excellent commercial acumen
• Good working knowledge of computerised estimating software.
