Mechanical Engineering Graduate

A Mechanical Engineering Graduate is required for our client, a specialist manufacturer of commercial heating systems and renewable energy products, they possess over 50 years’ experience in providing sales, service and installation to a vast customer base which spans across the UK and overseas, ranging from commercial business’s to residential users.

They require a technical mined individual who has had previous experience working with commercial boilers and associated their controls, the position will involve, overcoming and amending customer’s issues over the phone, whilst working closely with the technical department to provide support and advice to customers.

There will be a requirement create blueprints to assist engineers with troubleshooting and fault diagnosis, as well as providing quotations and support to the sales department and by providing applications and giving updates on proceedings to the Regional Sales Managers.

Previous experience within Heating and/or Ventilation (H&V) will be required, specifically Commercial Boilers, Domestic Boilers, Burners and Heat Interface systems (HUI). Any knowledge of BMS Controls, Solar Thermal, CHP or Biomass Boilers would be a distinct advantage.

The position is predominantly office based with some travel to site, this position would suit a junior design engineer, sales engineer or graduate who is seeking a progressive role in technical support.

Commutable locations are, Romford, Southend-on-Sea, Wickford, Grays, Brentwood and Chelmsford.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:-

Knowledge of Mechanical Systems, Heating and Ventilation.
Able to work efficiently in providing correct and clear advice.
Experience with Estimating or Design would be advantageous.
Excellent telephone manner and IT skills.
Possessing a Mechanical Engineering degree would be highly desirable.
