Mechanical / Detail Fitter – Aerospace Experience

Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter with an Aerospace background looking to work for a world class manufacturer?

Due to recent growth and an increase in demand for the products our client supplies they are now looking to recruit 2x Mechanical Fitters.

As Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible for carrying out the assembly and fitting of aircraft parts and assemblies (main and sub-assemblies). You should come with a minimum of 2 years in the industry and be able to read engineering drawings.

The Role
*To assemble aircraft parts to main and sub-assemblies
*Reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications
*The use of hand and air tools

The Person
*Detail fitting and assembly skills
*The ability to work from design drawings with limited supervision
*The flexibility to work to tight deadlines on several different projects
*A practical problem solving aptitude to technical problems

An on-going contract position is available (6 months +).
The working week is Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:30, Friday 07.30 – 13:00hrs with additional hours available.
