Mechanical Engineer/ Mechanical Design Engineer / Project Engineer / Mechanical Development Engineer / Product Design / Optical Design
£35000 – £55000 (depending on experience) + Benefits

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mechanical design engineer to join an engineering organisation who work on various products for various industries. Their current projects involve designing special purpose machinery.
Location: Cambridge, commutable from Cambridgeshire, Royston, Saffron Walden and surrounding locations
Senior Mechanical Design Engineering Position:
The responsibilities of the job include:
– Designing and developing new products and concepts
– Take projects through concept all the way through to manufacture
– Liaising with clients and customers
– Technical Calculations
Mechanical Engineer/ Mechanical Design Engineer / Project Engineer / Mechanical Development / Product Design Engineer Qualifications:
Requirements for the Mechanical Design Engineer Position:
– Experience with Solidworks (They will accept anyone from a different CAD background)
– Full life cycle design experience
– Ideally experience with high speed machinery and mechanism design
– Ideally experience with mechanical interfacing
– Ideally degree experience
