Salary: £33,600 – £48,000 per year
My client designs and manufactures equipment for the transport industry, and they are looking to take on a Senior / Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis, in the County Tyrone area in Northern Ireland.
The Senior / Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* HNC/ HND/ Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
* Be proficient with using 3D CAD (ideally SolidWorks)
* 2D experience with AutoCAD is also required
* Experience of designing with sheet metal/ fabricated materials ideal
* Good communication skills
The Senior / Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:
* Using AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks 3D for design
* Promoting good engineering practice at all times
* BOM Management
* Working well individually as well as a team
* Working with an innovative and fast growing company
