Mechanical Contracts Manager – Preston

Our client are based in Preston with a current turnover of over £100M. Due to an expanse in work they are currently looking to expand their operation department and recruit an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager on a permanent basis.

Our client supplies complete building services packages specialising in the design, build and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and public health systems to the,residential, commercial, healthcare, education, hotel & leisure, student accommodation and industrial sectors.

The role and responsibilities are as follows;

Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs
Advising on a range of legal and contractual issues
Produce bill of quantities by interpreting drawings and specifications.
Prepare quotations for early warning notifications (Variations).The ideal candidate will need to have a minimum of three years’ experience as an Mechanical Contracts Manager within Building Services.
