Mechanical Assembly Operative

The Role

Working within manufacturing environment producing equipment for both construction and Aerial platform markets. Whilst there are a variety of roles there is a requirement in most positions to use air pressurised tools and manual hand tools. In all positions there is a requirement to work to and follow standard operating procedures and maintain a high level of quality at all times. Working hours are Monday – Thursday 06:30 – 16:30 with overtime options on Friday.

The Person

you must be adaptable to change and willing to learn new jobs. You may be moved to other production areas within the facility so should have a positive attitude to learning and an ability to learn quickly. Ideally you will have a background in a manufacturing and assembly environment, although this is not essential. You must however be comfortable and able to work to tact times (set times for each production process) and production targets so previous work experience in a fast paced and changing environment is crucial.

The Company

this is an international Manufacturing company that supplies its products all over the world. It has a large workforce and is looking to take on additional staff to help with seasonal production levels. There is the possibility of being taken on with the Company and also the company offers numerous internal opportunities in the form of promotions to those Team Members who show the correct attitude.

The Package

this is a 12 week TTP contract, initially Salary: £26,000and rising to £10.78 after the successful completion of the initial 12 weeks. The Company will assess your suitability based on your performance, attendance levels and attitude when determining if the initial period has been deemed as acceptable. If successful a 6 month rolling contract could be offered.
