Salary: £60,000 – £66,000 per year

Our client would like to employ an M&E or Utilities Project Planner to work within their Distributed Energy Division.

You will be based in their Oxford office with occasional travel to national sites.

You will work on a number of exciting energy savings / energy generation projects. The business is experiencing exciting growth with project values typically in excess of £10 million.
The role will involve working closely with the commercial and delivery teams to ensure the project schedules are delivered on time and on budget.

Responsibilities include:

Create Gantt charts, network diagrams, resource histograms and budgets.
Develop baseline programs, monitor and updating progress, progress reporting, plus
reviewing programs in existence
Identifying and assessing delay
Creating master and implementing programs which incorporate the planning
requirements of the contract
Monthly project reporting
Planning & Programming
Establishing project approval gates, milestones, deadlines, constraints and task
calendars
Tracking the critical path
Lead in the Pre construction activity scheduling
Supply Chain Management
Chair meetings and issue minutes in a timely fashion
Ensure on site records are kept, up to date and accurate
Meetings & Reporting
Participate in monthly contractor risk reduction reviews to actively manage supply Assist construction project managers to perform their daily duties in planning and
scheduling the works packages

Desirable skills and competencies:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or related field or equivalent
Significant experience in technical project engineering environment
Expert in scheduling and planning with valid experience in MS Project and/or Primavera or equivalent
Proactive self-starter

Previous Energy performance contracting experience desirable
Previous main contractor experience with the Healthcare sector
Track record of successful project planning roles working for ‘top 10’ Main / M+E
