Salary: Circa £45,000-£50,000 depending on experience

The opportunity:

Do you want to play a significant part in the development of our Supplier Planning activities, aligning us to the Oliver Wight Class A standards? As MBDA develops its Operational Excellence process, an opportunity has arisen to work within the Industrial Policy, Global Supply Chain & Procurement (ISP) business, with close working relationships with Manufacturing Operations. You’ll have specific supplier/category opportunities to drive improved delivery and inventory performance. The business is fully behind this important initiative and so it is a perfect time to deliver some significant change and improvements. Excitingly, you’ll be the lead interface for our future platform, Air Supply.

What we’re looking for from you:Experience of working with/ Implementation of Air Supply would be a distinct advantage
Working in an MRP Planning background
Experienced at working with a large ERP system, ideally SAP
Goal orientated with strong cultural awareness, excellent team working capabilities and able to drive key decisions through the supply base
Experience of working with suppliers and scheduled orders/PO`s
Ideally with experience of both working with suppliers as well as within a manufacturing environment with an ability to negotiate to meet deadlines
CPIM or prepared to work towards it
What to expect:The opportunity to bring MRP planning and Material Master knowledge to a relatively new team and support improvements required to be successful in supplier planning activities

You will have very broad stakeholder engagement both within MBDA as well as our supply base
