Renault Manchester seeks a Master Technician to join our dealership’s workshop.

The role involves carrying out servicing, diagnosis and complex repair of vehicles to the highest standards. You will also be:

• Communicating with the Service Advisors and Workshop Control
• Speaking with customers on occasion to provide expert knowledge and technical opinion.
• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date technical knowledge of our product portfolio
• Maintaining the highest levels of customer service to encourage customer loyalty and referrals

Candidates should have a City & Guilds or NVQ level III Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualifications, Master Technician accreditation (any brand / manufacturer) and be fully equipped with own tools & protective footwear and hold a full UK Driver’s license.

We will prioritise candidates with previous Technical Expert / Co-Tech experience with Renault, Nissan or Dacia although we are able to provide dedicated fast-track courses for a Master or Gold-level Technician moving brands.

This role operates 40 hours per week, with a choice of shift that can be either 8am to 4:45pm, 8:15am to 5pm or 9:15am to 6pm; each with 30-minute lunch break and 15-minute tea break. 1-in-4 Saturday morning overtime on rota 8:30am to 12:30pm, paid at time-and-a-half.

In return we offer a basic salary of £37,246 per annum. This comprises £36,000 pa for weekday work + £1,246 pa for 1-in-4 Saturday mornings paid at time-and-a-half. We operate a monthly efficiency bonus that is paid on top of this which add circa £4,000-£6,000 pa to your earnings. Our top Master Technicians earn £45,000 pa OTE!

We are also offering a £2000 welcome bonus to the successful individual when offered the job on or before 22nd January 2024 and commencing work by 19th February 2024. T&Cs apply.

Overtime beyond the core hours is available: additional Saturday work is paid at time-and-a-half. You can also volunteer for occasional Sunday and Bank Holiday work which paid at double pay.
