About the role

The job is focussed on administration, client liaison and marketing aspects of the business but it will also include other general office-based tasks.

The main areas of work will be

• Following up initial enquiries – by email, phone and in person.
• Answering the phone, taking and passing on messages, actioning things where appropriate.
• Client liaison, following up from meetings and updating clients on project progress.
• Booking meetings and managing the office diaries
• Inputting client data into various Data bases & updating these
• Filing and organisation of projects, data, drawings and specific information relating to all aspects of projects.
• Ordering various materials by phone or internet.
• Organising the office-based design & product information – magazines, brochures & material samples
• Researching information and prices
• Organising photographs of work and allocating them to file storage on the network so they can be easily accessed for various uses.
• Organising displays in the showroom.

Our ideal candidate:

• The candidate should be a confident communicator with experience of client liaison and good organisational skills.
• Ideally with a creative background, good attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
• Experience of running and working in a busy design office is preferred.
