This role is part of the Business Growth Services team within Grant Thornton – which creates and delivers programmes with government that focus on supporting high-growth SMEs. It is a fast-paced team driven by the desire to impact the UK economy by supporting businesses. The existing programmes include Growth Accelerator and MAS (Manufacturing Advisory Service).

Working closely with consortium and government stakeholders, the successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the marketing and communications strategy and tactical delivery for Business Growth Services projects. The successful candidate will set the marketing and communications strategy as well managing the marketing budget. They will manage a marketing team, and be accountable for delivering the marketing KPIs for Business Growth Services. The ideal candidate will act as a brand guardian, providing advice on branding, messaging and positioning of Business Growth Services projects, and have a full range of marketing communication experience including website, print media, digital media, PR and social media.

We are looking for a proven Marketing leader who has a track record in working closely with the government in developing and managing marketing programmes and campaigns from inception through to evaluation. The successful candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills and have proven Marketing budget management experience. We are looking for leaders who have worked closely with agencies and have a varied marketing channel background.
