Marketing Assistant

Our client are a technology company within the energy industry based in Newcastle. They are looking for a Marketing Graduate to join their new Marketing team. This is a great opportunity for either a raw Grad with a relevant Marketing Degree or a Graduate with some Marketing experience to start their career. You will be involved in the whole marketing mix.

The Marketing Assistant role will support the Marketing Manager in delivering marketing activities across Europe.

Role Purpose:

The purpose of the role is:

To ensure that the Marketing function provides support to other areas of the business to maintain and increase sales

To liaise with outside marketing agencies to ensure delivery on projects including marketing material and exhibitions

To assist with the organisation of external events and corporate hospitality

To maintain the European website and other digital media

To maintain the customer database

To compile internal communications including staff newsletter

Gather and maintain market intelligence information including customer and competitor information

To assist with monitoring the Marketing budget, raising purchase orders and checking invoices
