Marketing Assistant

Salary: £26,000 – £32,400 per year

I am working with a national based company, who are looking for an experienced Marketing professional to join their young, fun, and dedicated Marketing team within their head office in Wigan.

The role will involve but will not be limited to:

• Creating engaging written and visual content using previous successful projects, products and people within the business which is suitable for output across multiple channels (copy, images, video, brochures etc)
• Developing, implementing and managing digital marketing strategies and campaigns
• Providing internal and external support to colleagues and customers
• Supporting the wider team with the companies website, online store and social media channels
• Assisting with research on competitors and future business projects
• Providing copy writing support for various campaigns
• Involvement with planning, organising and running various events
• Account management with external suppliers and developing lasting relationships

We are looking for someone who has a minimum of three years experience within a general marketing executive position, and a person who is able to offer support across all parts of the marketing team. 

We are ideally looking for someone who has experience with In-design & Adobe software.

You would also be required to visit your main branches within the company at least once a quarter. The company has over 50 locations across the UK, however you will be managing a handful of these sites as a primary contact.

In return my client are offering a starting salary of £26,000 – £32,400per yeardepending upon experience.

The role will be based at my clients head office on the outskirts of Wigan, working between 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday.
