We are a successful integrated marketing agency based in the South West of England, with a national and international reach. Much of our work is in the Hospitality sector where we work closely with hotels and businesses on a retained or project basis to transform their marketing efforts.

We are in the process of growing our successful business further and are actively seeking a marketing account manager to join us at this exciting time.

About the Marketing Account Manager role:

You will be leading the development and implementation of marketing plans for a number of our clients. You will work closely with your clients and the team of experts here, to create the brightest marketing solution for their businesses. Your skills will include innovative thinking, understanding of on and off line solutions, project management, project evaluation and outstanding client relationship management.

We get to know our clients and their business well; building these relationships and managing client visits are an essential part of our role.

About You

will be based within commutable distance to our offices just outside of Newton Abbot, Devon. You will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, hospitality, business or equivalent, and have at least three to five years of experience in a similar role. Your experience should reflect a level of responsibility with a proven track record of helping to increase revenues and build brand awareness and loyalty.

It is important that you are completely comfortable working in a team environment, where we recognise that team endeavour, knowledge sharing, mutual respect and professionalism deliver the best results.

Knowledge of the hospitality sector would be an advantage in this role; however we would be keen to talk to outstanding candidates with marketing account management experience.

Person Specification – Essential Attributes

QUALIFICATIONS:

> First Degree 2.2 or above in Marketing, Hospitality, Business or equivalent + CPD, MCIM

EXPERIENCE:

> Proven track record of marketing management, 3-5 years
> Planning and implementing marketing campaigns
> Client relationship management
> Team working
> Managing and prioritising workload

SKILLS & UNDERSTANDING:

> Strong written and verbal communication skills
> Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail
> Strong customer service orientation
> Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to change style and tone
> Familiarity with social media channels
> Knowledge of on and off line marketing

Desirable Attributes:

> CIM status
> Experience of the hospitality sector
> Marketing account management
> Experience of a similar agency role
> Full driving licence

MORE INFORMATION

Normal office hours are 9am-5pm; Monday to Friday (37.5 hours), and you will be predominantly based at our offices, however, owing to the nature of our work and our client base, the position will involve travel; later evenings and early morning starts.

> Salary for this position will be iro £31,200per annum, paid monthly in arrears
> Holiday entitlement is 20 days plus 8 Bank Holidays per annum
> We have our own private car park

LOCATION

We’re in a beautiful, rural location so you will need access to a car; although we do have a Car Sharing Scheme in operation. We also have a company Mini for staff members to use when visiting clients. Should this not be available, you will need to drive your own vehicle, for which a mileage allowance is applicable.
