Salary: £26,000 – £26,400 per year
Market Research & Data Administrator – £20,000-£22,000 in Central London
English speaking, graduate degree candidates who are also bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese would be ideal, but not required.
Our client, a successful media agency in central London is looking for a detailed oriented and highly organised Market Research & Data Administrator to manage the building of sales leads and marketing data across a range of publications and events. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to further their career in marketing, research, and media!
The ideal candidate will have experience researching and collating data within a B2B environment and is detail-orientated, with an inquisitive mind-set and is committed to delivering high quality, accurate business data.
The role is within a friendly marketing team for an independent publishing company, and offers the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to develop their experience across a number of international markets and a range of products.
The successful candidate will have a strong interest in analysis, and be required to undertake regular evaluation of the lead performance and related sales and marketing activity, and report on results against a set of KPIs.
The role will from time to time encompass research projects within South American based markets, so an excellent command of English with bilingual language skills in Spanish and/or Portuguese (written and spoken) is preferable.
The role will include but not be limited to the following tasks:
*Identify, collect, validate and input data from a range of sources from a defined set of markets
*Ensure that all data is collected in a timely and accurate fashion, and incorporated into the CRM system correctly
*Undertake telephone enquiries as required to research and validate data
*Be responsible for the quality of all data working closely with the Marketing Manager and Editorial/ Sales teams
*Conduct bespoke research projects as required
*Take full ownership of each research project, ensuring they are delivered on time and to a consistently high standard.
*Support the CRM team in maintaining the database; cleaning & validating as required
*Compile and clean the press data lists weekly
*Analysis and reporting on data performance
Key skills & competences:
*Experience of collecting and interpreting quantitative data from a variety of sources
*An investigative and imaginative mind set
*An understanding of business structures and company formations
*Highly organised and demonstrable ability to meet tight deadlines
*Highly proficient at Microsoft Office applications, esp. Excel
*Self-motivated, proactive with the ability to work unsupervised
*Confident telephone manner
*Experience of telephone based research preferred but not essential
*Strong team player
*Degree educated – a numerate or analytical discipline or a degree which included a significant amount of research/ analysis is preferable
*Excellent command of Portuguese and/or Spanish is preferable
