Marine Electricians – Falmouth
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for people who are experienced with electrical work within the Marine industry.
We are looking for people with:
- Good working knowledge and experience of working with marine electrical and electronic systems
- Knowledge of marine electronic systems such as Raymarine, Garmin and Simrad
- Ability to work with 12/24V DC and 240V AC systems
ABOUT THE POSITION
Rate: £26,000 – £35,100 per year. Paid Weekly
Hours: 42.5 hours a week – 7.00am – 17:30 pm Monday to Thursday
Overtime available at flat rate up to 45 hours, time and a quarter thereafter
Benefits: £1000 tool allowance bonus after 2 years service.
The company, design, build and repair high-quality boats, motor launches, yachts and superyachts.
The role will be varied and will depend on the applicant’s expertise, however, will include:
- Fitting all components, enclosers, trunking and tray
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Installing engine electrical systems from detailed drawings and schematics
- Conducting environmental, operational or performance tests on marine machinery and equipment, and investigating and observing them to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards
