Manufacturing / Prroduction Engineer

Our Client seeks applications from experienced Manufacturing / Production Engineers, with a background in assembly / production.

Also:
LEAN experience
5s
Ideally some six sigma
Ability to read drawings
Mechanical Background
Tooling review and design / purchase
Ideally Aerospace, automotive or similar background

Role Overview:
As a Production Engineer you are expected to work closely with Production and Design in ensuring that new processes are stable and production ready whilst continuously improving current processes. When implementing any changes or new processes all aspects of Health & Safety to be considered. Your Priority is to ensure production meet all targets in an efficient and timely manner. Any rejects or issues within production need to be resolved as a matter of urgency. You are expected to provide technical support and training to all shop floor staff and update manufacturing documentation as required. You are expected to be Flexibility and provide prompt analytical response to emergencies. As Part of the Production team you will be expected to provide complete support to all members and work in close partnership with the Production Manager, be able to work under pressure, prioritize and multitask.
