c£45,600 – £48,000SALARY + BENEFITS

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manufacturing/Quality Engineer to join a highly skilled, well established team at a leading manufacturer, specialising in the rail and other rolling stock industry.

The role:

Producing SOP’s/work instructions for the project
Providing input into Bill of Materials, manpower requirements and schedules
Manufacturing/Operational layouts in line with contract/project requirements
Producing quality and compliance testing procedures, resolving any customer quality issues
Providing technical support to project management, purchasing and other teamsKey requirements:

Time served apprenticeship level in Electrical OR Mechanical Engineering, ideally with additional qualifications
Experience working in a high pressure manufacturing, production or service type environment as a Manufacturing/Quality/Methods/Planning Engineer or similar
Excellent communication and IT skills, you will be highly organised
Familiar with engineering drawings and able to work with minimal supervisionThe company:
