Management & Commercial Accountant

We are working for our client under a Preferred Supplier Agreement and recruiting for a newly qualified/finalist/ ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant to work in the finance shared service centre of one of Hull’s major employers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking organisation and work in a highly driven, professional team.

THE ROLE:

Working within a dedicated professional finance function, you will enjoy a rounded role working right across the management and commercial accounting teams, providing support and reporting for the decision making process. Month end duties, review of P & L and balance sheet accounts will form a part of the role and require sound analytical skills for forecast processes.

THE CANDIDATE:

Newly qualified/passed finalist ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountants are encouraged to apply for this excellent opportunity. You will need to have strong systems experience, particularly with Excel and previous exposure to SAP would be beneficial, though not essential. A confident communicator and team player, the role may suit a candidate looking to make the break from professional practice into industry, or alternatively a candidate already working in industry and seeking a new, challenging opportunity. You will have clarity of thought and capable of strategic thinking, be great at problem solving and have sound influencing and negotiation skills combined with commercial awareness.

C£36,000 – £42,000- c£35,000 + benefits package.
