Job Description
Ensure all financial data is correctly recorded in a timely manner to facilitate financial reporting to the Executive team and budget holders. Produce Trial Balance to enable draft accounts to be prepared for presentation to the Executive team, Management group and Finance Committee. Complete audit schedules and assist in completing the final year end published accounts. Line management of Finance Apprentice.

The key responsibilities for this role are…
- To analyse accounts and reporting
- Prepare, review and distribute the departmental reports to budget holders
- Monthly and annual budgeting and forecasting report
- Aid in the production of the year end Trial Balance
- Manage chart of accounts
- A specialist level of knowledge of accounting
- Key relationships with, Finance team, wider hospice and budget holders
