Management Accountant
Job Description
Age UK are recruiting for a part-qualified Management Accountant in their Financial Planning & Analysis – Retail team. This role is focussed around producing and delivering timely and accurate management accounts and performance reporting to the business which consists of 260 charity shops across England and Wales, with an annual turnover of circa £40m.
Responsibilities include month end duties, distribution of reporting, commercial analysis, and supporting financial planning through the creation of budgets and forecasts.
This fantastic opportunity offers hybrid and flexible working between home and a central London co-working hub.

Must haves:
- Experience of working to deadlines within a finance department.
- Experience of double entry bookkeeping and account reconciliations.
- Experience in providing a service to an internal customer, working in collaboration with others to reach common goals.
- Intermediate Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables & Formulae).
- High level of numeracy and accuracy, attention to detail
- Aptitude for picking up new IT systems.
- Excellent time management skills, ability to manage own workload and to meet deadlines.
- Analytical, problem solving skills.
- Good communication skills, team player and ability to quickly build relationships within and outside of Finance
Great to haves:
- Previous experience in Retail finance.
- Keen to work in Charity sector.
- Power Bi skills. Microsoft Dynamics Nav experience.
- Someone who loves to innovate and improve processes to be more efficient.
