Maintenance Technician

Salary: £26,000 per year

Our client is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the team working on a large site in Hull. The role will involve the following:-

* General maintenance duties on a large estate and a busy property

* Working with a team of skilled tradesman, labouring where necessary

* Carry out reactive and planned maintenance work including basic repairs across the Property and Estate

* Assess requirements for works, source and procure materials, supplies and equipment for the delivery as required in line with the clients ordering process

* Responsible for the attendance and supervision of contractors ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the client’s operational Health and Safety requirements whilst on site

* Provide an excellent customer experience to all users and visitors, ensuring public areas are kept in a safe and serviceable condition

* Carry out contractor inductions and ensure General Permit to Works are issued

* Accurately record and provide information and data for asset management purposes

You must be an excellent team player with a strong and proven track record of working safely on busy sites.

You must also have proven experience of similar work.

The hours are 37.5 per week from Monday to Friday.

You must have a driving licence as you will be required to travel on the estate.
