Maintenance Stores Person

My client is a household brand looking for a Maintenance Stores Person to join their maintenance department on a contract basis, to assist with growing business demand.

Job description: the post holder will be responsible for maintaining the SAP system and supporting the Maintenance Department with stores expertise.

Core duties:

Maintain and run the stores environment
Responsible for the booking in and out of goods
Procurement of parts from external suppliers
Produce maintenance schedules and orders
Review and update SAP and MRP reports

Core competencies:

Stores and barcode scanning experience (essential)
Previous experience in a client/supplier facing role (essential)
Strong Microsoft product skills specifically around Excel (essential)
Experience with SAP (desirable)

This position would suit an experienced stores professional who has a strong understanding of inventory management systems.
