Salary: £39,600 + Benefits Scheme including final salary pension

What’s involved?

As a Maintenance Engineer/Technician your duties will include but not limited to:

* Planned and reactive maintenance on a range of electrical and mechanical systems ensuring you adhere to strict safe working practices and follow maintenance instructions to complete tasks and meet production targets.
* Accurately complete all paperwork and documentation
* Work outdoors as required
* Assist other engineers as instructed by the Team Leader
* Work on a shift basis including early, late and nights

What you need to bring to the table?

* Minimum NVQ Level 3, full apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering discipline
* Be electrically biased with strong mechanical competencies
* Experience of the servicing, maintenance and repair of heavy plant/equipment
* Be able to pass a strict medical enabling you to work within the rail industry (this will include sight and hearing tests plus screening for drugs and alcohol)
