Skillection are delighted to be working with their exclusive manufacturing client based in Huddersfield.

Due to growth and expansion our client are seeking an additional skilled and experienced apprentice trained / time served Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Principal Job Objective

To ensure that premises and equipment are maintained and improved where required, in line with all appropriate quality and safety standards. To take part in improvement activities to support the business in being more successful.

Key Accountabilities

• To maintain equipment on site

• To maintain premises

• To take part in improvement activities

• To behave in a manner that is safe and that promotes good manufacturing practice

• To work shifts or flexible working patterns when required

Necessary Requirements

• To understand all safety rules

• To understand all quality rules

• To be able to maintain equipment and premises

• To implement and understand TPM and improvement processes

• To liaise with visitors as necessary

• Experience in maintaining equipment and premises

• To work shifts or flexible working patterns when required

Desirable Requirements

• Engineering Qualifications

• To take part in the Health and Safety Committee or other representation roles
