Maintenance Engineer

We are a market leader within our industry, seeking an experienced shift maintenance engineer to join our skilled team of engineers.

The successful shift maintenance engineer will have the following essential skills and experience:
– Experience of working in a FMCG environment or similar
– Multi-skilled engineer, fully qualified Engineer to minimum of city and guilds level ideally HNC or equivalent.
– Experience of PPM
– Excellent fault finding and route cause analysis skills

The successful maintenance engineer will have the following responsibilities:
– To ensure faults are identified and rectified in a timely manner
– To provide a prompt response to all breakdowns.
– To undertake planned preventative maintenance as directed by ESM
– To participate in the installation of new machinery as and when necessary
– To ensure that all work are logged onto the CMMS system, target 80%of shift.
– To ensure all engineering documentation are completed in a timely manner
– To ensure tools and toolboxes are managed as per procedure.
– To recommend improvements to current operations to improve efficiency.
– To ensure that engineering spares are booked out on the CMMS system.
– To assist at times with the control of Contractors.
– To ensure all work stations i.e. Tool rooms and workshops are keep in a tidy condition.
