MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

OVERVIEW:
My ambitious client is looking for a maintenance engineer to join their forward thinking company with a turnover worldwide soaring into the billions. This highly established company will look to take on a maintenance engineer who will be looking to secure a great working future with a stable business. With on the job training, the maintenance engineer will be given support from fellow colleagues and senior members to learn and excel in the industry.

THE ROLE OF A MAINTENANCE ENGINEER:
Day to day duties of the maintenance engineer will require the individual to be on hand to deal with all reactive breakdowns on a double days shift. With the industry at such high demand the sight runs 24 hours a day 7 days a week. They will work alongside another experience member of staff on Project work and planned preventative maintenance.

-PLC fault finding – Allen Bradley, Siemens
-Planned preventative maintenance
-Installation and commission
-Project work to be completed to company standards.

KEY SKILLS:
The Maintenance engineer will be required to hold an electrical qualification, as the role is predominately electrical. Ideally the maintenance engineer will have had some exposure to transformers motors and PLC fault finding.

– Experience on hydraulics
– Electrical bias
– Experience in the heavy industrial background
– Electrical Qualification

BENEFITS: Overtime bonuses pension and other benefits.

SALARY: up to £36,000DOE

COMMUTABLE FROM: Blackheath, Smethwick, Dudley, Handsworth
