Maintenance Administrator

Our client is a corporate PLC and leader in their field, they currently require an addition to the manufacturing site team based at Clay Cross, Junction 29 (M1).

The successful applicant will be assisting the Factory Manager in his daily duties and will be correlating and inputting data, assisting in maintenance scheduling (including annual maintenance contracts and maintaining a store’s inventory).

Principal Duties.

• To produce maintenance reports on issues documented to the Factory Manager on a daily basis.
• To control the training documents of the site employees with the use of training software package provided.
• To assist the Factory Manager with general day to day tasks.
• Continual improvement in both PUWER and LOLER.
• Complete site Audits both H&S and ISO.
• To list all CX’s equipment on the Frontline maintenance system and to liaise with the Factory Manager to schedule maintenance as required. The maintenance team will require job cards printing on a daily basis. Scanned documentation of issues and resolutions to be placed in Frontline.
• To assist in the renewal of annual maintenance / service contracts for the CX site.
• Take personal accountability for providing a responsive and effective service to the management team and suppliers.
• Assist in supporting engineering improvements and changes to maintain and enhance CX giving a competitive edge within the group of companies and business competitors.
• To maintain training logs and improve training documentation across the site.

Principal Accountabilities.

• Work with production, support groups and suppliers to implement improvement opportunities to increase equipment efficiency and safety and reduce engineering downtime.
• Decisions on priorities when managing multiple requests for support.
• Make recommendations and where appropriate decisions on maintenance methods.
• Reports completed in a timely manner to a good accurate standard.

Previous Engineering experience is preferred.
