Magazine Production Assistant

My client, a small but highly ambitious customer magazine based in Kent, is looking for a magazine publication assistant.

This position offers the right candidate the chance to play a major part in the future development of the company and its lifestyle portfolio. This is a truly fantastic opportunity to join a respected and fast developing media owner working on one of their leading titles.

You will be responsible for liaising with over 100 clients each month helping to process and proof their advertisement copy which will appear in one of my client’s magazines. This role requires a highly organised and proactive approach helping to maintain strong customer service values with key clients whilst ensuring deadlines are met on a weekly basis

Key Skills and Experience for a magazine production assistant

” Highly organised and able to prioritise workload
” Calm under pressure in deadline intensive environment
” IT literate with Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel
” Confident and highly personable telephone manor
” Experience in deadline driven environment
” Experience in a production office

Creative knowledge of publishing and design process will be beneficial too.
