Machine Operator / Forklift Driver

Salary: £26,000 per year

CNC Saw Operator / Forklift Operative

Excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company based in Gloucester. This role is predominantly based in the workshop operating CNC Saws but will also include warehouse and yard work. Full training will be given to the successful applicant. A counterbalance or reach forklift certificate is required.

Duties to include:

* Operation of CNC Saw

* Install blades, set up guards and fixings on to machine

* Cut materials to specification

* Check completed products using measuring equipment

* Identify correct materials to be machined

* Operate machinery in a safe manner

* Forklift truck operation

* Load and unload delivery vehicles

* Movement of stock and completed product

* Labelling and packing finished goods

* General housekeeping

Requirements:

* Willing to learn new skills

* Numerate and literate

* Counterbalance or Reach FLT certificate

* Able to use measuring equipment (tapes and squares)

* Good team worker

* Able to work off own initiative

* Full time, permanent role

Monday to Friday on a 6.00am – 2.00pm and 2.00pm -10.00pm shift rotation

£26,000 per year + 20% shift allowance
