Machine Operator

Salary: £33,600 per year

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Packaging Company in their search for Digital Machine Operator to work in their leading facility in Wrexham.

For the successful Digital Machine Operator our client is offering:
i. £33,600 per annum
ii. 36 hours per week, 7:00 am – 7:00pm / 7:00pm – 7:00am
iii. Permanent position
iv. Uniform and PPE provided
v. 21 days holiday + bank holidays (after 12 weeks)

The role – Digital Machine Operator:
i. Understand the daily digital print and finishing requirements specific to the digital press and finishing lines
ii. Measure performance against targets
iii. Convert printed labels on the finishing line to the required specification which might include hot foiling, flexo printing/varnishing, and lamination.
iv. Maintain records of work completed and despatched
v. Organise workloads and scheduling to maximise operational performance of the Digital cell
vi. Adhering to all company procedures and good manufacturing Practice (GMP)

What our client is looking for in a Digital Machine Operator:
i. An understanding of labels and the ability to operate printing machinery to a high standard – ESSENTIAL
ii. Quality Inspection/technician experience is an absolute must due to the nature of the job – ESSENTIAL 
iii. Experience of working in a high volume, low unit cost manufacturing environment
iv. Ability to communicate effectively and accurately with other production colleagues, and to site management
