Paragon is seeking experienced, inspirational, ambitious Support Workers for Looked After Children across Hertfordshire County Council to provide high quality care and support in various settings.
Your rewarding role will be to support children in care in residential, accommodation or family settings. You will ensure their safeguarding and help them feel safe, secure and cared for whatever their situation and background. You will liaise with multidisciplinary teams to communicate and contribute to the child’s care plan.
This is an enjoyable role allowing you and the children you support to develop a relationship and work towards positive outcomes for the child.
As an experienced Support Worker you will need:
- Diploma Level 4, NVQ level 3 or equivalent child care qualification or higher
- Car owner with a clean driving Licence
- A DBS on the update service
- Up to date PMVA and Mandatory Training Certificate
- Right to work full time unrestricted
